Angry Birds are headed to Rio De Janeiro.
Just in case you can't get enough of those crazy, angry birds then you're in luck. Rovio, the studio behind Angry Birds, has paired with 20th Century Fox to release a new version of the popular mobile game titled Angry Birds Rio to coincide with the release of the upcoming animated adventure Rio. The adventurous birds in Rio seem like a perfect match for the angry birds featured in Rovio's popular game.
The description for Rio is as follows:
A misfit macaw named Blu (voice of Jesse Eisenberg) takes flight from his Minnesota home and soars south on a quest to explore Rio de Janeiro in this animated adventure for the entire family. Along the way, he meets the last female blue macaw (voice of Anne Hathaway), and discovers what an amazing adventure life can truly be. Rio also features the voices of Leslie Mann, Jamie Foxx, George Lopez, will.i.am, and Rodrigo Santoro.
Angry Birds Rio will feature the group of birds getting kidnapped and flighted out to Rio where they come face-to-face with the birds of the movie Rio. The game will be released both on mobile devices and gaming consoles in March.
In addition to the new game, another update will hit in Feburary to honor Valentine's Day much in the same way Rovio released a Halloween and Christmas edition for fans.
