Avid Craigslist users take note; Craiggers is the new hottness.
Craigslist is one of those sites which borders on the utterly simplistic but is incredibly useful. What if there were a way to jazz it up? What if you had a reason to search its contents and not get a headache from its free and simple design? Now you can.
As the site says, 'Craigslist Data, Better Than Craigslist!' And it is. Way better.
After searching, the site breaks down your search into a two-column spread that is designed to show you what you are actually looking for. After searching 'iPad' I was greeted with 298 results for the Austin area alone, but the layout of the results is where Craiggers really shines. On display is the Title of the posting, along with the state/city/location of listing.
The first column helps you trim search results, giving you a 'sort by' option for Most Recent and/or Most Relevant, as well as Title Only and Entire Post (this can help thread out traders and often scam posts). You can even search only results with images and neighboring categories.
The number one problem with Craigslist has always been that, although free, the site does little to maintain itself. It's simple, which is fantastic, but Craiggers changes all that. It gives users an interface that is not only desired, but is also free as well.
If you're an avid Craigslist user, make sure to check out Craiggers. And if you're not, Craiggers just might turn you in to one.
