Sony's E3 keynote confirmed the PS Vita, as we suspected it would.
The NGP has now officially been named the PS Vita, and will retail for $250.
Consumer Reports was hands on for the event, grabbing all of the vital information regarding the launch. So far, the system has some serious games on its lineup, including Uncharted: Golden Abyss, Little Big Planet, Modnation Racers, Street Fighters X Tekken, Ruin, and a new Bioshock.
The pricetag for the device is solid, though we all remember that's what Sony's PSPGo dropped at. And remember what happened there.
Gamers seemed a bit more interested in the NGP, as it feels like a true successor to the PSP. The Go always felt more like a trendy, flashy model of the PSP and while that was a good thing, in our opinion, it ultimately wasn't what gamers wanted.
Will the NGP be the device to outsell the DS?
