There's a little something for everything thanks to a healthy dose of utility and games on both the iTunes App market and the Android market.

 

The biggest news of the week certainly came from Apple in the form of the new iPhone and iPod touch Netflix app.  Users dying to carry around a portable version of the infamous online media streaming service will now be able to thanks to this latest app available now (for free!) on the iPod and iPod touch.  The app works via WiFi and 3G, but just be aware that if you're not on an unlimited data plan that this app will eat up a lot of your minutes.

 

In smaller news, the iPhone and iPad received a decent amount of game additions to their collection this week, most notably the creation of Phantasy Star II for the iPhone.  This handheld remake of the classic game will be a hit for those who grew up on the original and those who like a very solid RPG style game.

 

On the Android, those of you who love liquor will want to check out the new app by Handstand, Inc and those of you who love shopping will certainly want to pick up Amobico's shopping app, which brings needed upgrades to the classic shopping apps.
