The Animated Rocketeer

The Rocketeer, considered a classic by some, has seen its universe turned into an animated short.

In honor of Dave Stevens, creator of the original comic The Rocketeer and the film character, animation studios Digital Banana has created one fine digital short.

The short appeared online this weekend and is simply genius.  

The team behind the short, Digital Banana, is made up of John Banana and Elton Banana.  According to the company's website, John was in the digital industry for over 10 years and is responsible for co-creating the 'rabbids' characters found in the Raging Rabbids game and marketing series.
